I’ve been pretty busy of late, haven’t had time to post too regularly. But always trying to practice my craft.
A quick post of an iphone shot I took a little while back, while travelling for work. The remote Queensland farmlands created some great ground patterns. I watched closely from the air as the fields approached. I knew I could create an interesting abstract frame, just needed to think quickly and time my approach.
Even though it was just a quick “snap” with the iphone, doesn’t mean we cant make the photographic effort to compose and think/plan out our shot.
The best camera is the one you have with you, not the one that distracts your photographic eye and makes you miss the opportunity you have in front of you.
Don’t get me wrong, I like the gear, we are photo geeks after all, but I like the photographic process even more.
Enjoy.
