The recent change in weather pattern for Brisbane has been photographically refreshing.
After maybe 3 months of very little rain, the cycle seems to have shifted to a more humid unsettled pattern, typical of past summers. This is great for photographers, as nothing is less appealing that clear skies. Clouds add interest, especially if your into landscape photography.. A cloudless horizon is hard to work with, but add some cloud texture to help build the scene and images feel more complete.
This storm cloud was illuminated by the setting sun and it’s form created a nice shape to work with. I tried to use the silhouette of the tropical plants to help bring out the towering storm clouds.
