Fishing for juxtaposition

A quick beach shot

I captured this on while my kids were in a surf groms surfing class. This lone fisherman with his red and blue umbrella was such a nice juxtaposition to the rest of the scene. with my polariser on, and some nice whispy clouds, it made for a nice composition.

I really like this type of juxtapositon.. You know when you see a scene and you know it’s just missing a little something to tie it all together. Positioning and placement in the frame can be a very powerful tools, and often prove to be what really makes the difference.

Hope you enjoy the image.
