Cafe still life
Took this while taking a break for a cuppa.
My idea was to capture the soul and feel of the street alleyway coffee shop that Melbourne is quite famous for. The tight lane way don’t allow for a lot of spare room, and passersby often have to shuffle by to avoid contact with the socializing customers.
I shot this with the 24-70 @ F/2.8, but I sure could have used a nifty 50 or something a little faster, but having said that, sometime bokeh is like chocolate or other sweets and needs to be taken in moderation to be fully enjoyed.
I think what I really liked in the shot was the bright lights in the background that generate the appealing bokeh.
This looks like it has been taken at Block pl, Olio cucina.
I believe you might be correct. Although I don’t recall the exact spot..
