Beached sand barge seascape

The sea takes it’s toll

shipwreck, sand seascape, oceanFound this old sand barge on Stradbroke Island which made a great setting for a sunset seascape. Apparently these old sand barges were deliberately beached here at the shoreline to try protect the shoreline from erosion, which is ironic. I took a few other shots looking more directly into the sun, but ended up really liking this angle with the shoreline and wreck creating some triangular composition.
