Back after the Christmas break

Been a bit slow posting of late, but I have a good stockpile of images I need to move through.

I have a Fragipani tree in my backyard and these things seem to flower endlessly through the summer months. I found this perfect flower that had fallen on the grass and was photographing it. Trying to come up with someway interesting to capture it.

Then along came a ladybug and with a bit of planning I was able to patiently wait for the right moment as he/she climbed over the frangipani flower. I was quite happy with the composition as the lady bug because the subject and the flower tied into the composition.
