shallow DOF
I found this section of trees in a nearby park. The consistency of them appealed to me. I tried to use a shallow depth of field to isolate a single trunk. This created a focal point while the shallow DOF threw out everything else out of focus.
I think this would be an interesting location to do some portrait work. The open show of trees would make for an interesting background and add depth to the image.
