Simple composition
Again a simple composition with less clutter is the subject of today’s post.
Took this out on Stradbroke Island, Queensland, Australia, on a beautiful hot summers days over the Christmas break. The skies were clear and sunny and there was a nice clean swell rolling in. The winds were very light, providing beautiful conditions for the beach.
I used a circular polariser to cut through the glare and allow the prime conditions to show off the real colour. I saw this bloke on the edge of the rocks with his dog, admiring and watching the sets roll in. I knew I could frame him into the shot and they turned out to be a great focal anchor which worked really well with the lines from the approaching swell.
enjoy.
