Single tree subject

Found this lone tree on the shores of Lake Wakatipu next to Queenstown. What a great location and some spectacular scenery that’s hard to pass.

I tried to use the tree and the late evening light to bring the composition with the line of the mountains in the background. Anytime I see unique foreground objects like this one, I’m always thinking in my mind how I could build that into a scene.
