natures prickly beauty

Beauty in the eye of the viewer

weeds bokeh

I found this 3 prickly weeds and looked past their defensive armor to find some beauty in the scene.

I shot this with a long lens, positioning myself to find a nice pastel background that I could throw out of focus. I felt the layers of colours in the background complimented the prickly contrast of the weeds in the forground.

I know it’s a very simple frame, but sometimes simple works better. Less to distract the eye and more focus on the important elements.

Enjoy and keep shooting.
