You know when you take your camera out with you on errands, just with the hope a unique opportunity arises and allow you to shoot something.. Well I had one of those glad I brought the camera” moments the other day. Some passing rain showers moved through and a break in the clouds flooded the dark rain clouds with light creating a beautiful short stumpy rainbow. I found a angle that took advantage of some resident pigeons circling the area. I grabbed my 300mm F/4 lens, added the polariser to help emphasis the colours and grabbed 3 frames of the pigeons passing through the rainbow. Moments later the sun disappeared as did the rainbow and the opportunity passed. This was one of the frames.
Feel good to be prepared for the unexpected.
