Balance of ambient and natural light

Finally found a chance to shoot this tree in Dunwich on Stradbroke Island. This old Morton Bay Fig tree has such great character but I have never been able to really capture it and do this great tree justice . This time I was able to shoot it during the twilight magic light which balanced well with the artificial backlighting of the tree. The combination produced some surreal colours that I was happy with. Reminds me of the eternal tree on Game of Thrones
