Lone Mangrove Sunset in the shallow tidal waters

Simple Compositions are sometimes more compelling

Had a few nights out shooting the sunset and found this lone Mangrove as a subject. This was shot at a high tide, so the water surrounds the Mangrove’s root system. It’s really quite amazing that these trees can survive in such conditions.

Mangroves are various kinds of trees up to medium height and shrubs that grow in saline coastal sediment habitats in the tropics and subtropics – mainly between latitudes 25° N and 25° S.

Enjoy.
