Lead me down to the beach
Shot this one on a summer morning at Sunshine beach before the sun had risen.
The beaches north of Brisbane on the sunshine coast are enlessly beautiful. I found this pathway leading down to the beach on an early morning outing to try catch a sunrise. I knew there wasn’t any clouds on the horizon and wanted to take advantage of the pre-dawn glow. Some of the richest colours occur before the sunrise, especially when there isn’t any clouds obscuring the horizon.
I tried to use the handrailing and boardwalk down to the beach to act as a leading line into the scene. Shot with a ultra wide angle to exhaggerate the perspective of the pathway.
I was happy with the warm inviting mood this shot created.
